                Work Description

I think this may have been my first time lining a project successfully. The instructions are clear and easy to follow and it’s a really quick sew. I think if you sat down and worked on this non stop you could have it done in under 3 hours maybe less! I made a size 16 but I think I might make a 14 next time just to see how that fits. The overall design of the dress means it fits comfortably and with the use of elastic you can make the waist as tight or loose at you would like. I used a lovely lightweight viscose that blows nicely in the wind. I also skipped the bottom ruffle piece because I didn’t want the dress to be that long and I didn’t think it would work look best with my chosen fabric.
