                Work Description

This is the Ghost of Christmas Future from A Christmas Carol. It was written by Charles Dickens and published on the 19th December 1843. I have tried to design the doll with the text in mind, but still making it a simple doll to knit: '...the dusky shroud, there were ghostly eyes intently fixed upon him...' '... a spectral hand and one great heap of black.' The Ghost of Christmas Yet-To-Come, is knitted entirely in black, except the head. It wears a hood attached to the cloak. The head is knitted in white, with black eyes and a mouth.
