                Work Description

For February, I wanted to add colour to one of the blackwork designs from my January project. I found with the January project, that 2 strands of embroidery thread didn't give me clean lines within the pattern. I bought some Anchor Pearl Cotton, to see if using a thicker thread but without loose strands would give the piece a neater look. I found this was the case and I loved sewing with the thread. I used the blue to highlight the squares. I used the colours: 131 - Blue 360 - Brown 365 - Mustard
