          Work Description

I made the Viktor Trousers by Lenaline Patterns using a black with white striped suiting fabric that I thrifted. I am very pleased with the final outcome and plan to get a lot of wear out of these trousers! I made the pattern two times; I started with a size eight based on my measurements, and I added seam allowance as the pattern suggested and the pants were very big on me. I tried to make them work but I ended up deciding to make them again in a size four without any seam allowance and that worked well for me! I still had to take in the waist another inch as well as take an additional 5/8 of an inch out of the inseam, but now they fit me really well and I am really happy with the final outcome! The pattern instructions are very good and include illustrations which make it very easy to follow! There is a bit of loose fabric that hangs when you are seated, and I don't know if this is my error or if that's normal, but just something to keep in mind! Overall, I am really happy!
