For these halloween socks there are 5 different scary motifs to choose from: moon, bat, pumpkin, cat and spider! To make your own spooky version you can knit all of them or just choose your favorite and repeat that.
The socks are knitted using two different colors. The short row heel, the cuff and the toe are knitted in a solid color. Thanks to the checkerboard pattern there are no long floats, which makes this pattern a comfortable knit for all sizes.
Gauge: 30 stitches and 40 rows (10 cm)
To knit one pair of socks you will need sock yarn (4-ply) in two different colors.
The pattern is written for shoe sizes 22-45 (EU).
The pattern calls for DPNs in 2.5mm and 2.75 mm, but you can also use the Magic loop technique.
The pattern includes step-by-step instructions for the heel and toe and charts for the fair isle designs.
Be aware: this is a digital product! You won’t receive a printed version of this pattern, just the digital version in pdf format, that you can read on your computer using a pdf reading software.
haalu
My name is Hilke and I am a knitter from Aachen, who loves to sew. Haalu has already been around since June 2013. First I sold handmade purses, pencil cases or mobile phone cases on Dawanda, simply because I didn't need as much stuff as I was making. :) Some time ago I have started writing my own sewing and knitting ebooks to help others find their own enjoyment in crafting.
