The My Favourite Things Fair Isle Tea Cosy knitting pattern was partly inspired by the song from the musical, but I found that My Favourite Things, would be a little different from Julie Andrews.
This tea cosy is simply a mish mash of lovely things, the Fair Isle knitting and pompoms, hearts and forget-me-knots, flamingos, llamas prancing between giant pineapples, followed by tea and cakes. There's no rhyme or reason, just favourite things that the heart finds uplifting.
The colours are quite subtle, and the pastel tones give the tea cosy that Vintage look. I do love a bit of Faire Isle knitting, watching the images slowly taking shape.
This tea cosy has a knitted liner inside to keep the teapot nice and hot. This tea cosy fits a large sized teapot that holds 1.5 liters or 10 cups.
The My Favourite Things Fair Isle tea cosy is perfect for people who love pretty things.
Full instructions are given of how to knit the tea cosy. The Fair Isle part of the knitting pattern is a chart.
The pattern will be available for digital download as soon as you have completed purchase, so you could start knitting it very soon!
This product is the knitting pattern only to make your own My Favourite Things Fair Isle tea cosy.

I design and knit unique tea cosies. I really love designing exciting and unusual tea cosies, its great fun and people don’t mind having an over the top tea cosy. Plus they are a great talking point at tea time and make for brilliant knitting projects.
I have quite a following with regular customers who regularly buy my latest designs from my website TeaCosyFolk.co.uk
I have had a couple of patterns printed in the Simply Knitting Magazine, which is very exciting.
