A lovely, snuggly hat, scarf and no-digit mitts, for those cold and snowy winter days. Each item is decorated with a simple, six-sided snowflake.
The hat has a folded back edge for double the warmth and comes in 2 sizes. The long scarf is super snuggly, or can be a short scarf if you prefer. The fingerless mitts are pretty, yet practical, keeping fingers free for fiddly tasks, and come in 2 sizes.
They are all knitted flat on 2 needles and sewn up. The items themselves are an easy knit – the snowflake is intermediate, with photos to help complete each one. Line by line instructions in English with British/American terms. Each pattern is listed separately, with a glossary to finish, so it's easy just to print the pattern you want.
For the set - 3 balls main colour, and 1 white. Hat + mitts only, (no scarf), take 1 ball main colour and 1 white.
This is a great stash-buster, and would look lovely in a variety of colours. Each item is also available separately - please click on my name above to be taken to all my patterns. Thank you.
The Lonely Sea - Heather Corcoran
I have a bag that say ' I knit therefore I am' - sums me up perfectly! I love to knit and love to design! I have knitted for years, and made and sold literally hundreds of owl gloves and fingerless mitts on-line. About 8 years ago, I decided to give designing and writing patterns a go, and I absolutely love it! The whole process is absolutely captivating, and I love to see other knitters' projects made from my patterns. My beautiful cavvy, Honey, is my constant companion, and she sleeps next to me on the settee while I knit. You can also find me on Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/thelonelyseapatterns/
