Suricate Bag/Fanny pack - PDF Sewing pattern
The Suricate pattern comes in two sizes and two versions: bag and fanny pack (bum bag)! Its rectangular format is timeless and practical to put all our stuff in it (our junk? 🙈)! It will follow you in your daily life. The model is fully lined and has a zipper on the front to store your phone or credit card (depending on the size sewn) and an internal pocket to store your keys, a lipstick, etc..

The sewing margins are included in the pattern and are 3/8" unless otherwise specified.
Size :
Small size : 7.8″ x 4.7″ x 2″
Medium size : 10.2″ x 6.3″ x 2.4″
The Small size is ideal for the fanny pack version or a small bag. It is possible to slip your phone in the main opening and one or more credit cards in the zipped pocket on the front of the bag.
The Medium size allows you to put a large wallet in the main opening and a smartphone in the zipped pocket on the front of the bag.

Materials you need at home:
- 8″ fabric (55″wide)
- 8″ lining (55″wide)
- 8″ heavy iron on interfacing
- 6″ fabric for yoke 1
- 6″ fabric for yoke 2
- 6″ zipper & 8″ zipper
- 12″ piping
- 2 D-ring (1 3⁄16″ or 30mm)
- [option] 55″ strap for bags (webbing)
