This is a cute little tam that sits jauntily on the head, with a folded brim and optional I-cord detail at the crown.

The perfect yarn for this Hat is a pure wool light worsted, particularly tweed yarns. 3 sizes are included with notes for adjusting the size as needed.

Skills required: 
Knit & purl sts, knitting in the round, increases & decreases, specialist cast-on, cables, I-cords

Gauge: 
 20 sts x 26 rows to 4in/10cm on 4mm needles over St.St. 
 20 sts x 28 rows to 4in/10cm on 3.75mm needles over 1x1 Rib, lightly stretched
 17 sts cable pattern x 28 rows= 2.5in/6.25cm x 4in/10cm on 4mm needles
