Materials you need at home:

  • Fabric requirements are approximates only due to size differences. Use the length of your apron as a guide.

  • 1m (1 1/4 yards) of plain Christmas green fabric for the front of the apron

  • 1m (1 1/4 yards) of complementary fabric for the lining

  • Assorted scraps in red, white, black, yellow, grey, purple and pink for the applique

  • (1) 6 1/2in x 8in square of medium weight iron-on interfacing

  • (2) large white buttons, (2) small snowflake buttons, and (2) small brown buttons (Santa’s eyes)

  • Lightweight fusible webbing

  • Matching thread to suit your favourite applique (stitching) method
