Petit Large - Children Sweater Knitting Pattern

Petit Large is knitted in the round, seamlessly from the bottom-up. Set-in sleeves are picked up directly on the armholes and shoulders are shaped with short rows. This timeless sweater is spiced up by an asymmetrical and buttoned envelope neckline and textured elbow giving it a sailor look!

Sizes: 2-4 6-8-10-12 years For a finished bust circumference of 58-62 66-70-74-78 cm / 23-24 26-28-29-31 inches.

Gauge: 24 stitches and 32 rows = 4’’ in stockinette stitch knit in the round.

Stitches: Stockinette stitch in the round (knit all rows) and flat Twisted rib 1/1

Yarn & Notions:

2 skeins or 500-550 600-680-750-800 meters / 550-600 660-740-820-880 yards of Pimprenelle by Graine de Laine (or any other fingering or sport weight yarn to get correct gauge). Circular needles to get the correct gauge (suggested size: 4 mm/US#6). Circular needles, one size smaller. If you don’t use magic loop, a set of DPNs or a small circular needle, same size. 3 buttons. Stitch markers.
